Let me introduce myself, my name
is Elizabeth, I'm a mother of 3 sons. The oldest is an army pilot
who has been in Iraq and now is in Germany; which is one of the
reasons why I created these candles.
I've returned to the "Land of 10,000 Lakes", after 20 years in
Florida, and settled in a small town surrounded by lakes. A quieter
lifestyle.
Living in the Northwood's of Minnesota, the winters can be very long
- for many years I'd been in search and prayer for a business
online, thus TrustIAm.com prayer candles. The concept (out of the
concerns for the times), began in the winter of 2002 as an idea of
using color symbols, texture, and biblical fragrances in candles.
With prayer and hundreds of hours of research... the candles started
to take form.
I have designed 30 different prayer candles and am working with a
small candle company that developes the handcrafted candles, as well
as using the special blended fragrances I have worked on. We are
starting out with 8 candles and the "Intention" candle.
With the help of my youngest son (a web designer) we have designed
the website into what I hope is a user friendly site for all.
Why so much red? Well, I thought of Pentecost, when they were all
gathered in one place and the Holy Spirit came upon them. What a
powerful, exciting time that must have been.
